The last few days were very special for me. I got to record my first album at Bunker Studio with Obed Calvaire & Matt Penman.
So grateful we could do it during these strange times, I can't wait for all of you to hear it.

Tomer Cohen is a new promising and passionate talent in the New York jazz scene. Born in the US, raised in Israel, Tomer picked up the guitar at a young age. From that moment, Tomer knew that his pursuit in life is music.

Tomer studied Jazz in the Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv. He was then granted a scholarship from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. He moved to New York and graduated from the BFA Jazz program.

Over the years, Tomer performed in numerous gigs as a band leader. From small venues to large festivals, all with his own quartet and trio ensembles, Tomer has gained large amounts of performance experience. With each show he enchants the audience with his own materials and original compositions, reflecting his life moments, emotions and experiences.

When Tomer is not seen behind an instrument, he is at the studio recording and mixing songs of various styles.
